Forest Neovim
Minimalistic Neovim Plugins that keep your editor clean and organized.
As I have swapped over to neovim as my daily editor, I have found how blatantly easy it is to script plugins for it. I have always been a big fan of having a custom workspace and editor, and neovim makes that as easy as possible. For example, something I have always wanted is the ability to save project specific notes directly in my editor. This is something that is super easy to do in neovim. After just 2 days of learning lua, I had a working plugin that I released to the public.
So I am including Forest here, not because it was a techinical and difficult project, but because the cool part about it is that it has given me experience in open source development, and managing a large group of people. The Forest project has grown more than I could have ever anticipated. I get new Pull requests and issues every day, and managing and reviewing these has been a skill I have had to develop. It is awesome to see how people love the project I started, and seeing what it has grown into has been truly inspiring.
